    There are lots of late night taco shops throughout San Diego. All have the exact same menu and similar prices. I've been living here for over 25 years, I've been to many of these...zero ambience, friendly enough service...but what makes this standout is the HUGE portions! After a few drinks, my go to is a California Burrito...the burritos here are about 25% larger than the average San Diego taco shop. Same pricing too!

    Bomb deliciousness!!!!! My fave are: Pollo asado: Tortas Burrito Tacos Carne asada torta Carnitas combo plate Service is wonderful!!! Everyone is homie Af! Ambiance is mom and pop magick.     Solid Mexican spot close to our apartment and a good option for late night grinds after going to the bars/clubs. There hasn't been a single visit where there hasn't been a line, so there's usually a wait, but it's worth it. The staff is always friendly, no matter what time we stop in. The burritos are a good size and the tortas are awesome. Fresh ingredients, with good flavors, and the service is great. We're always stoked to stop by, knowing that the food is going to be good. My only complaint would be that the line builds from different directions (around the corner, across the street etc.) making it somewhat stressful to get into line without being yelled/honked at by other cars who are just trying to pass by.
